Doritos Spain has fired its transgender ambassador for its brand, Samantha Hudson, after a disturbing tweet involving a 12-year-old surfaced online.
Doritos, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, named Hudson a brand ambassador, and the trans artist appeared in a 50-second promo called “Crunch Talks.”
Hudson soared to fame with his popular YouTube channel that discussed beauty, travel, and lifestyle tips.
However, several X users alerted Dorito to a series of posts published in 2015 regarding a 12-year-old.
“I want to do thuggish things [to] a 12-year-old girl,” Hudson said in the post, translated from Spanish to English.
Hudson, who was 15 when he wrote the post, said it was meant to be funny.
“In the middle of the street in Mallorca in panties and screaming that I’m a nymphomaniac in front of a super beautiful 8-year-old girl,” Hudson allegedly said in another post, Newsweek reported.
In another shocking post, Hudson also appeared to mock sexual abuse survivors.
“I hate women who are victims of rape and who turn to self-help centers to overcome their trauma. k fat wh****,” the post said.
Doritos promptly fired Hudson as a brand ambassador following a massive outcry, the Daily Mail reported.
“Samantha Hudson, 24, appeared in a new partnership with Doritos Spain through a 50-second video called ‘Crunch Talks that has now been deleted from the brand’s Instagram,” it said.
“Doritos told Rolling Stone on Tuesday it would no longer work with Hudson, saying it had been unaware of her previous inappropriate posts,” it added.
Conservative X account, End Wokeness, blasted Doritos for their choice of ambassador, accusing Hudson of being a pedophile.
“Doritos just picked Samantha Hudson as their brand ambassador in SpainSamantha Hudson: -Admitted to being a pedophiIe -Identifies as a non-binary trans girl -Openly mocked victims of child r*pe -An advocate for ‘annihiIating, completely destroying, and abolishing the traditional family’.”
X user Ian Miles Cheong also wrote:
“Doritos is doubling down on wokeness by hiring Samantha Hudson, a transgender ‘woman’ and self-admitted p*do as its brand ambassador in Spain, resulting in calls for the boycott of the company’s products.”
Another X user, Alberto Caliu, asked how Doritos could support someone like Hudson.
“This Samantha Hudson is the new image of Doritos. Hello @Doritos , is this type of person your image? Do you support this?” with an image of a resurfaced tweet of Hudson’s.
