House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is set to interview “key figures” in his investigation into the Biden family’s bribery scheme and influence peddling.
“We’re going to start bringing in key figures in the Biden family influence-peddling schemes for depositions, and I think we’re on the right track, even though we’re having to fight the FBI, fight the DOJ, fight the Democrats in Congress, and fight the mainstream media,” Comer said, Fox News reported.
Comer also noted he refused to give up when it became difficult to obtain documents.
“I think we’ve done as much as we could do with the obstacles we’ve had to overcome. No one thought I would get bank records,” he said.
“No one thought we would get access to the Treasury, Cabinet’s suspicious activity reports, but we would not take no for an answer,” Comer added.
“We kept fighting, and we prevailed. When we got access to the suspicious activity reports, the mainstream media said there was nothing there.”
The probe uncovered indirect wire transfers from Romania and China to the Biden family while Joe Biden served as vice president under Obama.
Despite the FBI being aware of these allegations for years, they refused to investigate the claims.
“They didn’t want to investigate the shell companies. They didn’t want to investigate the money laundering,” Comer said.
‘And then we know the Department of Justice hasn’t done anything, so there’s a pattern here where the federal government, the deep state bureaucracies, have turned a blind eye to Joe Biden,” Comer also said.
Last week, Comer said the Biden family accepted as much as $30 million from foreign nationals as revelations about the president’s bribery scheme unfolded.
“We have more bank records coming in; we’re going to exceed $10 million this week. And I think we’ll get up to between $20 and 30 million,” Comer (R-Ky.) told Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo.
Last week, GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed some details from the FBI form 1023 related to Biden’s bribery scheme.
As The Daily Fetched reported:
A trusted and highly credible informant presented the evidence on the Ukraine-Biden-bribery scheme in 2017.
According to Greene, the allegations appear to involve the Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, who hired Hunter Biden to serve on the board of Burisma Holdings.
“He [Burisma owner] paid $5 million to one Biden, and he paid $5 million to another Biden, and it was all a bribery to get Shokin fired and end the investigation into Burisma,” MTG said.
