Establishment media outlet CNN hoped Donald Trump’s indictment would have a disastrous effect on his poll numbers, but instead, it’s having a devastating effect on Joe Biden’s poll numbers, and it’s confusing the hell out of them.
According to a new CNN poll, Biden is facing a tough road ahead for his potential reelection in 2024.
Biden’s poll numbers are so bad even CNN host David Chalian looked visibly shocked, suggesting he would have a tough time securing a second term.
“We begin with some brand new CNN polling and what our numbers tell us about a president still working on his reelection plan as he heads today to Camp David for the Easter weekend,” said host John King.
“The numbers are beyond sobering for President Biden. They tell us many, or in some cases, most of you, have deep doubts about his performance and about the direction of the country right now,” King added.
“It is April 2023 so a very long way to November 2024. So consider these numbers just an early campaign baseline,” he continued. “But, it’s an important poll but, they are still quite telling about your mood and the challenges facing the 80-year-old incumbent.”

CNN’s David Chalian broke Biden’s poll numbers down.
“This is indeed a big baseline poll at just the starting line,” Chalian began.
“President Biden hasn’t formally announced his reelection yet but we asked the American people if he deserves reelection if he deserves a second term.”
CNN’s new poll revealed that less than a third of voters, a mesially 32 percent, want to see Biden back in the White House in 2025, while a whopping 67 percent said they Don’t want Biden to be president again.
The poll numbers have dropped since a similar poll in December rvealed Biden’s support was just 37 percent, down 5 percent.
CNN also found that Biden’s current approval rating is just 42 percent, with a disapproval rating of 57 percent.
Meanwhile, Trump enjoys much stronger support after a recent Rasmussen poll showed him lead Biden in a hypothetical 2024 matchup.
The poll was conducted just before Trump’s arraignment, which shows the former president slaying Biden 47 percent to 40 percent – the biggest lead on Trump has had on Biden since he was installed.
