Joe Biden hosted a “pride month” celebration picnic on the South Lawn at the White House on Saturday were he boasted about lifting the ban on transgender people in the military.
A massive LGBTQ+ flag was laid out next to an American flag at the White House.
Predictably, Biden couldn’t manage to get through his speech without some gaffes and bizarre stories.
For instance, Biden told a story about seeing “two well-dressed men standing on the corner” kissing decades ago in Wilmington, Delaware – a story we’ve all heard before, and probably never happened.
“I’d never seen that before!” Biden said.
Even the Washington Post fact-checkers doubted whether Biden’s story was true.
Then Biden continued through his speech and became more confused.
“I was proud to have ended the ban on transjester Americans — transgender Americans — serving in the United States military,” Biden said.
Wow!
Watch
Biden’s speech comes just days after the US Air Force faced massive backlash on Twitter after its official account tweeted an image of a soldier saluting an LGBTQ flag to ‘Celebrate Pride Month. ‘
As The Daily Fetched reported, the image shows a silhouetted soldier saluting against a rainbow backdrop, along with black and brown and trans colors and the Air Force seal.
The caption read:
“June is #PrideMonth! The Department of the Air Force proudly recognizes and celebrates generations of LGBTQI+ service members and their contributions to our #AirForce & #SpaceForce.”
A few days earlier, the United States Navy’s official Twitter account quietly removed its rainbow-colored LGBTQ graphic in support of Pride Month after also facing backlash.
