The Biden/Harris administration rescinded RFK Jr.’s Secret Service protection just days after he endorsed Donald Trump for president and declared he would actively campaign for him.
Kennedy was only granted protection last month following the assassination attempt on Trump, despite repeated requests.
The government stated they had removed RFK Jr’s Secret Service protection because he suspended his candidacy.
However, Kennedy remains on the ballot in 40 out of 50 states, suspending his campaign only in the key swing states.

As we reported earlier this year, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas personally rejected independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s “urgent” for Secret Service protection, according to a bombshell report. According to a letter dated July 21, 2023, Mayorkas dismissed RFK’s request without explanation.
The letter to Secret Service Director Kimberly A. Cheatle said this:
“On May 26, 2023, candidate for President Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. submitted a request to the Department of Homeland Security for United States Secret Service protection.”
“In accordance with the authority set forth in Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056(a)(7), and in consultation with the Candidate Protection Advisory Committee, I decline to identify candidate Kennedy for United States Secret Service protection at this time.”
The backlash on social media was swift, with many noting how dangerous it was in the light of Trump being shot and the fact that Kennedy, whose father and uncle were both assassinated, will now be campaigning with him.

During an interview with Fox News Sunday, RFK Jr. revealed, “I’m gonna be campaigning actively” with Trump and pushing to “Make America Healthy Again.”

Kennedy also stated, “I think President Trump is going to make a series of announcements about other Democrats who are joining his campaign.”
Kennedy also responded to his siblings denouncing him for joining forces with Trump:
“My family is – I understand that they’re troubled by my decisions. I love my family. I feel like we were raised in a milieu where we were encouraged to debate each other and debate ferociously and passionately about things and still love each other.”
“They’re free to take their positions on these issues. There are many, many members of my family working at my campaign and who are supporting me,” he added, concluding “I think we all need to be able to disagree with each other and still love each other.”
