Arnold Schwarzenegger blasted Christianity and faith in God, saying there is no heaven and that “anyone that tells you something else is a f***ing liar.”
The Terminator actor, 75, gave his views on his to Danny DeVito during their shared discourse on the topic “What’s in the future for us” for Interview Magazine.
“It reminds me of Howard Stern’s question to me. ‘Tell me, governor, what happens to us when we die?’ I said, ‘Nothing. You’re 6 feet under,” Schwarzenegger said.
“Anyone that tells you something else is a f—ing liar,” the actor added.
“I said, ‘We don’t know what happens with the soul and all this spiritual stuff that I’m not an expert in, but I know that the body as we see each other now, we will never see each other again like that,” Schwarzenegger continued.
Arnold Schwarzenegger went further, saying death is a topic he feels uncomfortable with, before declaring the concept of “heaven” is a fantasy.”
The former California Governor said he was around 15 friends from back in his bodybuilding days, adding the tragic reality of our finite time on earth made him shift his perspective on the possibility of an afterlife.
“When people talk about, ‘I will see them again in heaven,’ it sounds so good, but the reality is that we won’t see each other again after we’re gone,” he added.
“That’s the sad part. I know people feel comfortable with death, but I don’t,'” he said.
The actor also revealed how he broke his ex-wife Maria Shriver’s heart after telling her he was the father of their housekeeper Mildred Baena’s son, Joseph.
The Sun reported that Schwarzenegger said Shriver confronted him in 2011 through their marriage counselor regarding his parentage.
In 2021, Schwarzenegger famously told Americans refusing to get the Covid vaccine or wear a mask to “screw your freedom” while claiming to be fighting against fascism.
At the time, the Austrian-born actor warned of rising “fascism” by comparing the Capitol riot to Adolf Hitler’s Brownshirts before World War II.
“There is a virus here, it kills people, and the only way we prevent it is to get vaccinated, get masks, do social distancing, wash your hands all the time, and not just to think about ‘well, my freedom is being kind of disturbed here’. No, screw your freedom,” Mr Schwarzenegger said.
“Yeah you have the freedom to wear no mask, but you know something, you’re a schmuck for not wearing a mask because you’re supposed to protect your fellow members around you, it’s just that simple,” he added.
How ironic; he won’t be back.
Not taking “Spiritual Advice” from some muscle bound idiot who has been in the United States for FIFTY YEARS and who STILL cannot pronounce California.
Easy for a guy who cheated on his wife with a house keeper and to keep it silent he signed every leftist bill coming across his desk while governor. Most likely his opinions now are more in line with his real father not adoptive father
