A new “anti-mask” trend is growing on social after reports that COVID-19 masks mandates are to be reinstated in some hospitals and businesses.
The trend came after former President Donald Trump declared, “We will not comply” with mask mandates in a recent video responding to reports.
“Hear these words: We will not comply. So don’t even think about it,” he said.
“We will not shut down our schools. We will not accept your lockdowns. We will not abide by your mask mandates, and we will not tolerate your vaccine mandates.”
“Amen, Mr. President. WE WILL NOT COMPLY!” wrote Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake on X or Twitter.
“Just a reminder. We will not comply. Ever again. Screw your face diapers!! #masks,” wrote Fox News’ Tomi Lahren days before on X.
Former “Saturday Night Live” actor Rob Schneider also reacted to Atlanta College confirming it would reinstate masking:
“Regarding your precautionary mask mandate… I have a precautionary Foot I’d like to shove up your [expletive]! But don’t worry, it’s just for the next 14 days! For your own protection! Ps. Students WAKE UP, SHEEPLE! SAY NO!” he wrote.
“We will not adhere to lockdowns. We will not submit to mandates,” wrote Dr. Simone Gold, the head of anti-mandate America’s Frontline Doctors.” “We will not wear masks. We will not close down schools. We will not comply with COVID tyranny.”
Conservative journalist Kyle Becker said people should “make it clear” to businesses implementing mask mandates that “they will not only lose your business but that of anyone you know. Put the word out: We will not comply.”
The “Anti-mask” mandate trend came weeks after other Republicans lashed out against the restrictions.
Last week, Republican Senator Rand Paul responded to COVID restrictions, asserting that those behind the measures “have no shame.”
As the Daily Fetched reported last week, the Biden administration is preparing to enforce full COVID-19 restrictions as early as mid-September, TSA and border patrol whistleblowers claimed.
“These people are so conflicted,” Paul said.
“It’s so dishonest to put people like that on the air to promote a product that they make more money from … promote this hysteria. This defies all logic. It defies science, and it defies common sense.”
“To see this coming up again, these people have no shame,” Paul continued, pointing to Morris Brown College in Atlanta, a black private liberal arts college that has reinstated the measures as part of a “precautionary step.”
