Alex Soros is now actively meeting with Democratic figures in order to launch their attempts to stop former president Donald Trump’s momentum ahead of the 2024 electoral campaign.
Alex Soros, who took over from his father George Soros’s leftist empire last year, posted several social media posts indicating the commencement of the campaign season.
Soros met with a prominent Democrat, Rep. Ruben Gallego, and he highlighted in his post the critical stakes of the upcoming election.
Gallego’s collaboration with Soros highlights a significant partnership, given that he is highly critical of Washington’s “ultra-wealthy.”
That’s not been my career in Congress and it certainly won’t be in the Senate because the ultra-wealthy 💰 don't need any more advocates in Washington. The people of Arizona do. (7/7) https://t.co/GqltBKCXJ4

This might be one of the most pathetic pictures I’ve ever seen. Look at cartel sellout @RubenGallego hugging Alex Soros (George Soros’ son), like a little schoolboy – Sucking up to the communist left.

Republicans have been clear: they support killing Social Security and Medicare.

Let me be even clearer: @HouseDemocrats will oppose every effort to strip away at these programs.
The GOP stands with special interests and their billionaire buddies.
Democrats work #ForThePeople.
According to Federal Election Commission records, Soros has contributed the maximum allowable donation of $6,600 to Gallego’s Senate campaign for the 2024 election cycle.
YourNews reports:
Alex Soros’s involvement with the Democratic Party extends beyond financial contributions. Following his assumption of leadership at the Open Society Foundations in June 2023, he has been seen with numerous high-ranking Democrats, sharing moments on social media with influential figures such as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and other notable New York Democrats. His close interactions include frequent meetings with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, highlighting a deep-seated connection with the party’s leadership.
Moreover, Soros’s engagement with the Democratic establishment is reflected in his substantial financial backing. Since the 2018 election cycle, he has injected over $5 million into federal political efforts, including significant donations to the Biden Victory Fund in 2020 and direct contributions to President Biden’s 2024 campaign. His philanthropic and political endeavors place him as a notable figure within Democratic circles, emphasizing his strategic role in shaping the party’s future.
As the 2024 election campaign heats up, the involvement of influential figures like Alex Soros with Democratic candidates signals a concerted effort to marshal support and resources. Despite the apparent contradiction between Gallego’s public stance on billionaire influence and his association with Soros, this collaboration highlights the complex dynamics of political fundraising and advocacy in the run-up to a pivotal electoral contest. Neither the Open Society Foundations nor Gallego’s campaign has commented on these developments.
Last December, Soros vowed to stop Donald Trump from reclaiming the White House by plowing unprecedented amounts of cash into Joe Biden’s (D) 2024 reelection campaign.
Initially, Soros and his son, Alex, donated modest amounts to the campaign in the second quarter of 2023.
Each gave $6,600, the maximum figure allowed, the Western Journal noted in their article published Saturday.
In September, George Soros donated $250,000 to the Biden Victory Fund.
“During the 2020 presidential race, Alex Soros gave over $720,000 to the Biden Victory Fund. His father, George, gave more than $500,000,” per the Journal article.
As The Daily Fetched reported in June, the elder Soros handed his 25 billion financial empire to his son, Alex.
Alex Soros later declared his primary mission in 2024 is defeating MAGA and preventing Donald Trump from winning the White House.
“I believe a MAGA-style Republican victory in next year’s US presidential election could, in the end, be worse for the EU than for the US,” Alex Soros wrote in an op-ed in Politico on the 2024 election.
“Such an outcome will imperil European unity and undermine the progress achieved on many fronts in response to the war in Ukraine.”
According to White House visitor logs, Alex Soros attended 20 meetings with administration officials at the Biden White House.
