Newly elected senator John Fetterman unwittingly created a viral sensation when he tried to say ‘water’ during an event at a Philadelphia water treatment plant with President Joe Biden on Friday.
Fetterman, who became impaired after a stroke, demonstrated his unfitness for his new role by searching for the word “water” but instead said “work.”
During Biden’s remarks, he said Fetterman had “been a great partner, pal. And you’ve only been there exactly one month. But you’ve been a fighter not only for Pittsburgh but for the whole country.”
If Fetterman did nothing else, he showed his state they should be concerned about his mental state.

The speech was on clean water because that’s what half of American families are thinking about.
Meanwhile, others expressed anger that Republicans were mocking Fetterman’s deteriorated mental state.
Regardless of arguments about who should and shouldn’t be criticising Fetterman’s mental capacity, he’s demonstrating he is unfit for office. Much like Joe Biden.

Just goes to show how low the competence has been set, though I agree that it is cruel to poke fun at a strke victim, but it is OK to do the same to an electorate who would believe that such a person is competent to hold Senatorial office while clearly not having regained full faculties.
Two years ago, this situation would have been unthinkable. I have to refuse feeling sorry for the man; after all, he certainly is lucid enough to know what his election meant and continued to “campaign”. He knows he’s being used, just as does Joe Biden.
He made the choice to run for public officccceeee. Some get me some weather…..
